Excellent food and friendly atmosphere
I had a delightful one-night stay where the food was the true highlight. Dinner featured a delicious homemade fish pie, and the breakfast was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. One downside was that the room could use some extra heating for a more comfortable night.

Had a great time with friends here! We explored the beautiful countryside and enjoyed a fantastic evening meal at the pub. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Just a heads up, the rooms were fine but could use a bit of updating. Still, it was clean with a good shower. Definitely recommend for a group getaway!
One downside was that our room was a bit chilly and felt a little worn out, which didn’t make for the best sleep. It would be great if they warmed up the rooms before guests arrive.

A group of us had an awesome time during our stay! We loved hanging out at the local pubs and even did some exploring nearby. The food was tasty and the staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home. Just a heads up, the decor could use a refresh, but it didn't take away from our experience.
The room was a bit cold during the night, which affected our comfort. It would have been nice to have better heating.

The room was clean and comfortable, which was nice after a long day out. Had a separate entrance, so that was a bonus. But honestly, it felt a bit chilly at night, which made it hard to sleep well. Could use a little upgrade on decor, too.

missingWrote a review on Jul 08dirty bathroom
The bathroom left much to be desired, with visible grime on tiles and a shower hose plagued by black mold. The bed frame struggled to stay together due to broken fixtures, and the sheets constantly shifted during sleep. A loud pressure washing noise outside my door disrupted my peace on a rainy day, and I was surprised to find out that daily room cleaning had to be requested, contrary to the advertised service. the loud clinking of kitchenware was an annoying background noise at night.

The pub was charming, with our own entrance—super handy for our furry friend! The staff were lovely and clearly enjoyed their jobs, which made us feel right at home.
The bathroom looked like it had survived a horror movie, and I half expected to find a ghost. the bed was wobblier than my hangover the next morning!
